Mr. Jack Burrows (he\him) is an American baritone from Seattle who has enjoyed mainstage credits, choral works, vocal competitions, recitals and festival performances. His recent credits include Burglar in the world-premiere of Karim Al-Zand’s A Joint Interest, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte with Rice University, Masetto in Don Giovanni with Music Academy of the West, and Paris in Romeo et Juliette with Vashon Opera.

Growing up in choirs all his life, Mr. Burrows first approached music as a choral musician. In 2022, he joined Dr. Brian Galante’s Choir of the West and Dr. Paul Tegels’ Christ Church Tacoma Choir. Mr. Burrows has performed numerous times with Seattle choral groups: Radiance and Bryd ensemble, conducted by Markdavin Obenza. As a soloist, he’s performed with greater Puget Sound companies like Vashon Island Chorale for Mozart’s Requiem in 2022 and Symphony Tacoma for their youth outreach performances of Simply Symphonic in 2024 & 2025. In 2025, he joined Dr. Brady Knapp’s Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church Choir, where he serves as choral scholar today.

An avid recitalist, Mr. Burrows has enjoyed performing Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen by Mahler and Don Quichotte by Ravel in 2023. Also, Vier ernste Gesängeby Brahms andLetzte Blätter by Strauss in 2025, and many contemporary American art songs over the years at the Mary Baker Russell Performance Hall. Mr. Burrows will be giving another recital this April 2026 in Duncan Recital Hall at the Shepherd School of Music. He will be performing Beethoven’s An die Ferne Geliebte, Turina’s Poema en forma de canciones, Rachmaninov’s Six Romances, and premiering an art song by Stefan Vikingur: “Invitation to Love”.
